Kent Security, which staffs our guard gates, invited those neighbors with Ring systems (doorbells, etc.)  to participate in a free pilot program.  This program is already underway in another neighborhood and operating successfully.

If you opt to participate and grant the appropriate permissions, the Kent security guard gate attendants will be notified of any Ring motion alerts at your home (from midnight to 5:00am) and will have the ability to check the alerts while you sleep in real-time and report suspicious activity to either our roving patrol or to the police.   Again, Kent will provide this additional service at no charge (during the graveyard shift hours when they have time to do so because car traffic is low).

You do not need to be an MCA member.  You only need to live in the neighborhood and have a functioning Ring doorbell system.
